Sometime after college in 1971 a friend gave me a decoupage plaque she had made. I had never seen anything like it and I remember saying to myself, "I could sell this." And so began my odyssey with wall plaques, first selling them house-to-house in St. Paul, Minnesota then on to every Midwestern town I could drive to. In those days (from 1971 to 1981) we were known as Fish Enterprises. After relocating our production facility to Guadalajara, Mexico we became Dexsa, The Giving Company.
So now, with more than thirty years making plaques, I am surprised at myself. I know I've always loved words, but how is it that I've stayed with something like wall plaques all this time? Well, I think it's the verses--the are the flowers, the trees and the raindrops that bring beauty, strength and life to a world that is getting more difficult each day. So, it's with full hearts that we at Dexsa offer these products to you. Let us know what you think of them. And thank you for giving us an opportunity to serve you!
